Bray Class (Beginners). Saturday 11-12 pm

A big shout out for all new beginners to come join in our 1-hour fun fitness dance class.

Each child will learn the basic movements of Irish dancing thus moving on to learning full dances.

Rhythm movement, coordination, balance and posture are all worked on during class.

Both soft, hard shoe and ceili dancing is taught. This is a very energetic class and the love of dance is passed on to every child.

With health issues on the rise in children this is a class not to be missed by any parent looking to assist their children by having a healthy heart.

Each child will need a pair of Irish dance shoes and a skipping rope for class. These are available on our package deals if you need them under shop. It is not compulsory to buy shoes through us however I recommend it. I like to fit beginners with a little space whereas I find others can fit too tight. Also going forward if you do take on a little competition you have the correct shoes we require and do not need to change from the style you have.

Our class is full on and it is important that all children are kept busy in class. When given their short break they thoroughly enjoy their little time with friends. The drink and snack they have brought with them to class can even turn out to be the best part of the class.

Saturday class is a great fresh day to take a class outside the school week. This class encourages your child to be the best they can be.

From the age of four I have had a passionate love for Irish dancing. Knowing as far back as then that I was going to make teaching my career in the future I continued to dance my way through life and enjoyed every minute of it. I danced with the great Erin O’ Dalaigh and competed in many major events All Irelands, World Championships, festivals and shows. I successfully passed the T.C.R.G examination in 1988, which joined with my Childcare qualifications made a great combination to starting up and teaching the tens of thousands of children and adults to date. I work extremely hard as a full time teacher, teaching in areas such as Crèche’s, Schools, Special needs, foreign students, Adults private step dance classes and workshops throughout the World. I am delighted with the excellent standards achieved in my career to date. World Champion,European Champions,Irish National,Great Britain,North American Champion and many many Leinster Champions. Also our excellent teams of Ceile Champions. I am ecstatic with my achievement in taking the 2013 World Championship title under 18 ladies and also the placing of our excellent Ceili teams. I like to run a school of excellence and perfection which proves well in areas such as shows, festivals and especially competition. I love passing on my love of music and dance to others. This is my path in life and what I was born to do. I believe with the right teacher every child can dance. I believe all children should be treated the same no matter what their ability.
