Our own Dance Studio & Cafe

Hi Everyone,

We would like to introduce you to our new dance studio.
Fegan Irish Dance Studios, Unit 16 Solus Industrial Estate, Bray, Co. Dublin.  I would like to start by thanking our dad Leo for all the help he has given us around the studio. Our dad is amazing.  He has a solution to everything. Every time he walks through the studio door he has a new idea or tells us of something that is dangerous or has to be fixed. Yes sometimes this can drive us a little crazy but we love him for that. Don’t know how we would manage without him.

We would also like to thank Mark and Marko who did a lot of the heavy work and preparation for our opening. They really worked extremely hard and we are very grateful. Super workers. We  would like to say a word of thanks to Tony Reynolds for all his help, Tony made the move very easy. A big thankyou also to Janet and Aisling who helped out in so many ways.  We are very grateful. Finally but not least a thank you to David and Waxer who worked fabulously on our floor.

After many years of teaching we are now delighted to have our very own premises. The children are also crazy about the new studio. It is like home from home. Our studio is very comfortable secure and safe. We first opened the doors of the dance studio on April 1st 2015. On June 9th 2015 we opened the cafe which is situated in front of the dance studio.

Our dance studio is a wonderful dance venue which also caters for our class competitions and examinations. We have had a full sprung floor put down with a professional hullachan covering also in place. Perfect for the Irish dancer of today. Our studio is fully lined with mirrors and a music system.

Part of our studio premises contains our dance shop (DanceLand)
DanceLand caters for all your dance needs and we hope to have the shop up on line in time to come. We supply fantastic deals on all medals and trophies to many schools and sports clubs of all sorts, also engraving on all trophies and cups. We fit and supply printed and embroidered garments.

We have still classes running in our usual venues outside the studio. Taney, Sandyford, Wicklow etc. Believe it or not I miss our old Bray venue the Bray Head Hotel. I know many over the years had issues with this venue but I loved it and Iona was so kind to all the children and always enjoyed having us. Our thoughts and prayers are with Iona at this time as her husband Johnny recently passed away.

Our cafe is in full flight at the front of the studio.  We are opened to the public and also cater for the immediate businesses in the industrial estate from 7.30m-3pm. The cafe also caters for all those who use the studio. A cucumber sandwich is one of our students personal favourite. Our breakfast rolls have a great name for themselves already.  We have soups, freshly made sandwiches and wraps and lots lots more on the menu.  Cream cakes are to die for. Call in for a cuppa any time. We would love to see you.

There are many things happening in the studio to date and I have no doubt it is going to grow and grow. We have many Irish dance classes available for beginners and advanced students. Our toddler class is fantastic. They are nearly all professionals already. Ha!ha!  On our timetable which we also hope to have up and running soon is our adult class, our boys class and finally most importantly our special needs class. Check out our timetable of classes.

We hire out the hall for classes functions and parties. Do get in touch if you have any questions or inquiries.

Mrs Joan Long officially opened our studio. We had a lovely evening.  We are very grateful to have such a lovely lady like Joan in our lives. Joan holds the title of World Champion Irish Dancer and is a professional adjudicator with an Coimisiun.  With a lot of experience under her belt we are very grateful for all her advice.
